Avalanche awareness courses
Discover the amazing world of snow science. Learn to read and document snow profiles, test stability, read avalanche terrain, and travel safely in the backcountry.
Courses available throughout the season, or on request. A minimum of 8 people required per course.
3 hr evening theory, followed by two full days in the field.
All participants need their own backcountry equipment, including shovel, probe, transceiver, and snow saw.
Price: 2400 nok per person. Includes field tools, literature (avalanche handbook) and overnighting.

Weather permitting, you can experience northern lights from the lodge away from the hustle and bustle of the city lights. Take a hike, light a campfire, or simply step outside to take in one of the greatest spectacles of the natural world.
